Michigan Business Connection (MBC) is excited to welcome Sandy Nieuwkoop as its newest Senior Loan Servicer. Sandy joined MBC in September 2018 and will be responsible for supporting all loan related servicing processes during the life of a loan relationship. In her role, Sandy will work with both borrowers and credit unions on things like booking the loan, monthly payment processing, escrow analysis and disbursements and several other post close loan servicing requirements.
Throughout her career in banking, Sandy has held positions in both retail and lending. She started her financial services career at Community Choice Credit Union where she was a Team Lead Lending Support Specialist. Most recently she was a Loan Servicing Specialist at a local community bank in the Detroit Metro area. Nieuwkoop’s extensive knowledge is an asset to MBC and its credit unions and borrowers.
Sandy earned a Business Degree from Schoolcraft College and resides in Livonia, Michigan. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
