Michigan Business Connection (MBC) is excited to welcome Gino Salciccioli, CTP, as a Senior Credit Administrator to its team. Gino has had an accomplished career in commercial banking since 1994. Most recently Salciccioli served as a Senior Vice President of Special Assets for Huntington National Bank where he was responsible for working with large corporate and institutional customers. Prior to Huntington Bank Gino served as the Special Assets Manager and Lender for FirstMerit and Citizens Bank.
MBC’s President and CEO Bill Beardsley said, “Gino’s extensive lending background, including significant expertise in watch credit review and workouts, provides MBC with another level of expertise.” Beardsley goes onto say, “Expertise that will allow us to better serve our credit unions’ and borrowers’ needs even if those needs become unique or complex. Fortunately, these great economic times are good for our borrowers, and we don’t have many experiencing difficulties, but we want to be prepared to be helpful to our credit unions when things aren’t so good. Gino will initially focus his efforts on revising MBC’s loan review and adverse risk practices and will also have a portfolio of borrowers to manage.”
Gino is a graduate of Michigan State University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Hs is also a graduate of Wayne State University where he earned a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. In addition, he holds the Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) designation from the Turnaround Management Association which he earned in 2010.
Gino resides in Commerce Twp. with his wife and two children. He enjoys traveling, running, camping and hiking. He coaches high school varsity cross country and track & field and is the head coach of a national travel high school girls’ volleyball team.
