At MBC we’re dedicated to making a positive impact in our communities by helping individuals, families and organizations that make a huge impact in the lives of many throughout Michigan. One of the ways we raise money is with Friday Casual Days. Every month MBC employees have the opportunity to pay monies for the privilege of wearing blue jeans or other casual attire on Fridays.

MBC’s September charity is Michigan Humane Society.

The Michigan Humane is the oldest and largest non-profit animal welfare organization in Michigan, founded in 1877. Headquartered in Detroit, it operates multiple animal care and veterinary facilities across metro Detroit, helping over 100,000 animals each year through adoptions, rescue operations, and community veterinary programs.

The Michigan Humane Society (MHS) mission is to improve and save lives through compassionate care, community engagement, and advocacy for animals. Through pursuit of this mission, MHS will protect animals and meaningfully affect societal views to enhance consideration, respect, and compassion for all animals.
