At MBC we’re dedicated to making a positive impact in our communities by helping individuals, families and organizations that make a huge impact in the lives of many throughout Michigan. One of the ways we raise money is with Friday Casual Days. Every month MBC employees have the opportunity to pay monies for the privilege of wearing blue jeans or other casual attire on Fridays.

MBC’s August charity is Common Ground.  Common Ground is a nonprofit, nationally recognized crisis services agency in Michigan that provides free, confidential help 24/7 to individuals, families, and communities in mental health, substance use, and crisis situations. In moments of crisis, we all need a safe space where we can seek comfort and guidance. Where we can feel heard and validated. Where we’ll be met with compassion, not judgment. And that’s where Common Ground comes in. Whether you’re dealing with a mental health emergency, need counseling or emergency shelter, or just need someone to talk to, we offer confidential crisis support, 24/7.
