At MBC we’re dedicated to making a positive impact in our communities by helping individuals and families in need. We do this through our commitment to help support charities that make a huge impact in the lives of many throughout our Michigan communities. One of the ways we raise money is with Friday Casual Days. Every month MBC employees can pay $20 for the privilege of wearing blue jeans or other casual attire on Fridays.

Our spotlight charity for September is United Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Michigan.

The United Cerebral Palsy of Michigan connects people with disabilities to the opportunities and resources needed to live productive and independent lives. Their vision is to be the pre-eminent non-profit organization that provides resources, support, and advocacy to empower people with disabilities, their families and allies to lead self-determined lives.

United Cerebral Palsy affiliates provide services such as housing, physical therapy, assistive technology training, early intervention services, individual and family support, social and recreational programs, community living, state and local referrals, employment, employment assistance and advocacy. They share important information and services across the development disability community, and advocate for improved services.
