Michigan Business Connection (MBC) is excited to announce their 2018 charity recap results! With funds collected from their casual dress down days, MBC donated $14,614 to twelve different charities last year. On average they were able to give approximately $1,200 dollars to each of those twelve charities.

Based on recommendations from staff, MBC selects a charity focus each month that will receive a donation from MBC casual days funds that are collected. MBC employees that participate are able to wear blue jeans or other casual attire on Fridays. The 2018 Charities that received donations were: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washtenaw County, Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living, Friendship Circle, Arthritis Foundation, Food Gatherers, Friends in Deed Washtenaw, Children’s Miracle Network, Folds of Honor Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Proud Parents of Loss, Trails Edge Camp (U of M), Volunteers of America Michigan Adopt a Family.

MBC is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community by helping individuals and families in need. They do this annually through their commitment to help support charities that make an enormous impact in the lives of many throughout the state of Michigan.
