Michigan Business Connection (MBC) is excited announce that as the result of its Charity Jeans Program a total of $10,661 dollars was donated between 12 charities in 2017. MBC’s Charity Jeans program was introduced several years ago and continues to be a great way that MBC team members can positively impact their communities and causes. For every dollar employees donate MBC matches that contribution. Bill Beardsley, CEO of MBC noted “Community and charitable organizations are the backbone of our society. It is really great to put money where effort and need are and have a positive impact.  A little from a lot can go a long way.”

Every month a different charity is featured, and the money collected and matched for that month is then donated to that charity. The 12 charities that benefited from Charity Jeans Day in 2017 were: Hype Athletics, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Mott Children’s Hospital, the Arthritis Foundation, Kids Without Cancer, Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, The Bottomless Toy Chest, Children’s Miracle Network, The Fisher House, United Cerebral Palsy of Michigan and Volunteers of America Adopt a Family.

MBC strives to make a difference in Michigan communities and is always looking for ways to fulfill that commitment whether it’s supporting important financing projects, donating or volunteering time at a local organization. MBC team members are dedicated to making an impact and given the growth of Team MBC, 2018 looks to be an even more successful Charity Jeans Program.
