Michigan Business Connection to host Michigan Credit Union MBL Credit Policy Development Workshop

Press Releases

Michigan Business Connection is pleased to host the Michigan Credit Union MBL Credit Policy Development Workshop Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Lansing, Michigan. This event will help Credit Union credit policy decision makers prepare for and achieve compliance with changes contained in the 2017 MBL Rule 723.

The workshop, hosted at the Lansing Radisson from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., will feature collaborative group drill down discussions on policy development hot points such as: construction lending limits and procedures, single tenant risk guidelines, associated borrower definition and limits, personal guaranty expectations, new SBA policy requirements, portfolio managing practices and more.

“We believe in making sure that our Credit Union community and partners have the most current information concerning policies, compliance and best practices,” stated MBC President and CEO Bill Beardsley. “Our workshop will allow us to ensure we are sharing the most up-to-date information as well as allow us to work side-by-side with Credit Unions to share ideas and collaborate.”

This event is FREE for MBC Subscriber Credit Unions and CUES Economic Summit attendees (use promo code MBCFREE). The cost for all other attendees is $150.00.

The CUES Economic Summit, also being held at The Radisson, kicks off on the evening of October 27th. This workshop will conclude with a shared reception with CUES attendees.
