Michigan Business Connection (MBC) is excited to welcome its newest team members, Nicole Angelo as a Documentation Specialist and Dan Lenart as a Credit Analyst I.

Nicole Angelo joins MBC as a Documentation Specialist with primary responsibilities in managing collateral due diligence, documentation preparation, and closing coordination support for MBC and credit unions served. Angelo began her financial career in 1999 as a Teller with Monroe Bank & Trust, where she held several other retail and commercial loan positions, before becoming a Senior Commercial Quality Control Specialist for Flagstar Bank. Angelo most recently worked as a Senior Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist for the Bank of Ann Arbor.

Dan Lenart joins MBC as a Credit Analyst I with primary responsibilities in underwriting new small business requests and offering support to the underwriting and portfolio management departments. Lenart began his financial career in 2020 at GenoaBank in Ohio as a Loan Operations Specialist. He later became a Commercial Credit Analyst with GenoaBank before beginning his career with MBC. He also held logistics, records, and equipment specialist positions while serving in the United States Army Reserve. Lenart received a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Lipscomb University and a Master’s of Business Administration Degree with a specialization in Finance from the University of Toledo.
