Where: Your Community
When: October 13, 2020
Who: Credit Unions, CUSOs, Leagues, Regulators, You!
In our 9th year, we are looking to step up to the challenge and show support not just on October 13, but every day leading up to it. The devastation COVID-19 has caused to many local businesses and restaurants is something that could take communities years to recover from. What better way to show our support for the local economy than to buy local? Every dollar spent makes a difference when it goes to a local business; from buying a morning cup of coffee, ordering lunch in, or organizing a group of people to support a local business.
We cordially invite you to show your support by signing up to participate in CU Lunch Local 2020.
- First, sign-up by filling out the form below. This will allow us to accurately track participation so we can promote the event’s success.
- Then, consider partnering up with one or more local businesses on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. This year we are also encouraging everyone to share how you’ve been supporting local businesses any day leading up to October 13, 2020 starting today.
- If you want to get involved visit www.facebook.com/culunchlocal, and upload a selfie of yourself to the page eating local with the hashtag #CULunchLocal. You can also share via your organization’s social media (or your own) and tag the CU Lunch Local page, by adding @CULunchLocal to your post (Twitter and Instagram too). If you don’t have access to social media through your organization, you can contact email@example.com for alternative ways to share your photos.
- We encourage you to utilize the flyer we created here. Download it, print it, take your selfie with it, and then leave it at the business you supported for others to see.
If your organization has a Facebook page, stay up-to-date with what’s happening and share your organization’s CU Lunch Local photos by “liking” the official CU Lunch Local Facebook Page.
